WHAT: Into Film is proud to present an educational screening of Rent as part of our LGBT History Month programme showcasing LGBTQ+ cinema. The screening will be preceded by a short talk by Eyes Wide Open Cinema programmer and academic researcher Khaliden Na, who will talk about the lasting legacy of Rent and why we're still talking about it 25 years after Seasons of Love was first sung on stage. From the musical to the adaptation, the importance of these characters' stories - and thinking about how they're being told.
WHEN: Monday 4 March, 12.40pm - 3.25pm (the film will start promptly at 1pm)
WHERE: Fabrica, 40 Duke Street, Brighton, BN1 1AG. City centre venue with no dedicated parking. Church/gallery venue with pop-up cinema
*Educators must ensure they book tickets for themselves as well as students. On the order form, please indicate how many young people and how many adults will attend out of the total amount of tickets you have booked.*
