In the magical Kingdom of Rosas, a funny and brave girl called Asha is excited about applying for a job as the King's apprentice. It would be very special work, as King Magnifico is a sorcerer who has the power to grant wishes. But she soon realizes that the King is actually keeping his citizens' wishes locked away and only granting the ones that he thinks will keep him in power. Believing that everyone should have the right to pursue their dreams, Asha desperately calls to the stars for answers and one friendly little star responds, descending from the skies to reveal that all beings are connected by hope and stardust. As Star sprinkles his magic and joy freely across the kingdom, Magnifico vows to find out who is behind it all, eventually resorting to dangerous methods. A charming animation that marks one hundred years of Disney, this sweet tale celebrates the studio's core values of friendship and imagination.

This screening will take place at the Education Centre at Edinburgh Zoo, which is located just above the Penguin Pool.

Attendees are welcome to have their lunch in the Zoo following the screening. There are open and covered spaces to eat lunch, however these spaces cannot be reserved and will be shared with the general public.
