This slapstick caper from Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy is certainly a comedy of its time, though there are still some funny moments courtesy of the pair's banter and bumbling. When Stan and Ollie are arrested for breaking Prohibition, they wind up in jail, where they befriend a notorious hood. Before long, they've broken out and are hiding on a cotton plantation. The feature presentation is complemented by a clutch of short films also starring the most famous double-act in the world.
Contains an old fashioned use of camouflage make-up which some may find offensive.
