How do you stage an air attack in a film? You can use models, you can re-use old footage and these days you can use CGI - or you can take the expensive and dangerous option of using real planes. This 1964 film, set during World War Two, is famous because of its spectacular air scenes used vintage planes (although not for the crashes!). The plot has a multi-national RAF squadron on a near-suicidal mission to destroy a German rocket-fuel factory, but the reason to watch is definitely to see the Mosquito bombers in real-life action.
This film has a couple of uses of mild bad language.
