Synopsis

Tayto and Oisín live on a tough council estate in Dublin. One day their grandfather brings them an unusual gift: a beautiful white horse. They keep the horse in their flat, which the neighbours are not too happy about, and their grandfather tells them stories about the stallion's magic adventures. However, when the horse is stolen it's Tayto's and Oisín's turn to have their own thrilling journey to get him back. An exciting film that mixes a realistic setting with fairy-tale events.

What our educators say

"We are currently screening The Wizard of Oz, profound film that it is, and the last film Wall-E. It's been rewarding observing the KS1 6 year olds run the gamut of emotions from wonder to sadness to joy. "
