This hand-drawn animation is a longstanding Christmas classic, known for its simple, moving, magical quality. Based on British author and illustrator Raymond Briggs's much-loved book, it tells the story of a boy who, one glistening winter's day, builds a snowman in his back garden. That night, the snowman comes to life and takes the boy on an amazing adventure, that even reaches as far as the North Pole, where they meet Father Christmas. The gentle non-dialogue narrative offers an accessible portrayal of friendship, discovery and loss, encapsulated in the haunting song 'Walking in the Air', which is the soaring centerpiece of the film.
Magical, heart-warming animation about a seven-year-old who finds a live shooting star which has the power to make people fly.
