Synopsis

Music can be one of the most powerful forces in our lives - and can help bring people together to create change. Amandla! tells the uplifting story of how South African musicians and the music they made played a vital part in the struggle against the racist Apartheid regime that dominated the country until the early 1990s. An inspiring documentary featuring appearances from many talented South African musicians, as well as the man who would finally become president of his newly free country in 1994 - Nelson Mandela.
