Synopsis

Jodie Foster plays the mother who retreats to her 'panic room' - a secure strong room that's supposedly impregnable - with her preteen daughter (a young Kristen Stewart) when three violent burglars break in to her New York home. What mother and daughter don't know is that the burglars are after a big stash of hidden stolen money. And that the loot is in the very room the terrified females believe is the safest place they could be. A simple story, thrillingly told.

What our educators say

"We are currently screening The Wizard of Oz, profound film that it is, and the last film Wall-E. It's been rewarding observing the KS1 6 year olds run the gamut of emotions from wonder to sadness to joy. "
