Three snowboarding friends - two boys and a girl - scam their way onto the chairlifts at a ski resort. After a series of shift changes and miscommunications amongst the staff, night falls, their chairlift grinds to a halt, the lights go out around them and they are left suspended in the freezing air. Alone. The resort is closed till the following weekend and, determined not to die from frostbite or hypothermia, they are forced to take desperate measures. It's a simple plot, even for a genre film, but the dialogue between the three characters in the lead up to them being stranded sets the story up well.
