While the legal rights and public status of gay adults in the UK has changed beyond recognition in the last 15 years or so, life for gay teenagers is as tough and confusing as ever. And that's how Fit came into being, as a play and discussion piece for schools. Despite the obvious narrative structure, most of the teenagers' stories are still moving and the dance scenes keep the energy levels up.
