Synopsis

The lovable, mischievous schoolboy character that has featured in 19 books and over 100 animated television episodes is now brought to life in this live-action adaptation. Henry is a devilish prankster, which is how he has earned the description Horrid Henry, in sharp contrast to his goody two-shoes brother Perfect Peter. Henry drives a constant war on the teachers and girls of Ashdown Primary, stealing biscuits, causing havoc, and mislaying his homework. But the headmaster of a rival school, Vic Van Winkle, now poses a whole new irritation altogether. With Winkle hatching a devious plot to have Ashdown closed, Henry must find his inner rock star to try and win a kids' television show competition for the sake of his school.

What our educators say

"Some of them saw a clip from Wakolda (The German Doctor) on TV recently and really wanted to watch it. So I thought I’d take a chance, not expecting them to watch the whole film but the majority were absolutely gripped. "
