Synopsis

The Madagascar crew returns for an energetic and visually ambitious third installment. Increasingly homesick for their beloved New York City zoo, lion Alex, zebra Marty, giraffe Melman and hippo Gloria inadvertently end up going wild across Europe, as they do everything they can to get back to America. Hot on their tails is a hilariously relentless animal control officer, who wants them wiped out - and even intends to hang Alex's head on her crowded trophy wall. So to evade capture, the pals join a down-on-its-luck travelling circus that they set about reinventing in their own inimitable style. With plenty of laughs, enjoyable new characters and some great animation, this is a colourful and really fun-packed adventure.

What our educators say

"We are currently screening The Wizard of Oz, profound film that it is, and the last film Wall-E. It's been rewarding observing the KS1 6 year olds run the gamut of emotions from wonder to sadness to joy. "
