Four vampires are living in Wellington, New Zealand, all centuries old but struggling to adapt to life in the 21st century. From fashion disasters, to bewildered attempts at nightclubbing, and dysfunctional flat-sharing this hilarious mockumentary reinterprets vampires as man-children. Stuck in a continuous state of arrested development, they are fish-out-of- water with no concept of the modern world. The film retains a warm, affectionate tone throughout, but does not scrimp on the gore or genuine scares either, in ways that recall the early work of fellow countryman, Peter Jackson. Proof that there is still life in the vampire genre.
Recently married ghosts employ the services of flamboyant "bio-exorcist" in an attempt to scare away the obnoxious new owners of their home.
