Into Film and Encounters Short Film Festival have teamed up to present a selection of great short films suitable for ages 14 - 16, all of which were programmed by young people at an Into Film workshop in June this year. Including animation, live action and documentary the films explore a variety of stories and issues relevant to teenagers. Touching on bullying at a Greek high school, brotherly love, and the inner thoughts of a young blind woman to imaginative animated tales of life after a tsunami, overcoming bad habits and even a toe-tapping journey through musical genres. This is an inspiring selection of short films for teens, chosen by teens.
Films in this collection are:
Slaves to the Rave
Prosefhi Greek School Prayer
The Meek
Three Brothers
Tsunami
Exploring the Mind of Alexandra Mackie
This programme has not been certified by the BBFC. Into Film suggest it is engaging for ages 14-19. Please note some of the films contain moderate bad language.
A great collection of British shorts about everything from a kebab-shop knife-fight to senior citizens exploring the world of online dating.
