The owner of a struggling circus enlists the help of war veteran Holt Farrier to care of the newest member of his troupe, a baby elephant named Dumbo, whose oversized ears make him a laughing stock to the rest of the performers. When Holt’s children discover that Dumbo’s ears enable him to fly, the peculiar animal becomes a star alongside the beautiful and charming acrobat Colette Marchant. However, when charismatic businessman V.A. Vandevere swoops in to capitalise on Dumbo’s fame, the dark side of show-business begins to reveal itself. This new interpretation of the beloved Disney story, from the imagination of director Tim Burton, is a soaring tale of tolerance, friendship and believing in your abilities.
