A day begins for two families on opposite sides of the world. In Afghanistan, a father eats breakfast with his family and has an argument with his young son before heading out to work. In the United Kingdom, another family does the same, laughing and joking over breakfast before the father drops his son off and begins his job at a military Air Force base. These parallel mornings begin to intertwine, leading to a tragedy and one family being left in ruins. A cautionary tale of our skewed perceptions of war and devastation in foreign countries and how our actions can have consequences that we may not even realise.
