After her father’s death and a sudden eviction, single mother Callie relocates her family to their inherited farmhouse in the countryside. Teenage Trevor attempts to make friends at their new school but his brainy younger sister Phoebe struggles to fit in. Things continue to not go as planned when unexplained earthquakes and mysterious supernatural events across the town begin to take place. If that wasn’t enough, a rummage through their new home reveals their grandfather’s involvement with the original Ghostbusters, a now largely forgotten ghost-catching business. It is now up to the family to continue his legacy and work out why these strange events are taking place, using their grandfather’s old gadgets along the way. This continuation to the Ghostbuster story will delight both previous fans and younger audiences, while also exploring topics around family, growing up and identity.
moderate threat, horror, sex references, implied strong language
