Synopsis

Tobi is only 18 years old but he is blowing up. Not only have his songs begun to get a huge following online but his manager has just called to tell him that a record company want to send him on tour. There is only one catch – he is going to have to drop out of university to pursue his rap career and his mother is not going to be pleased, to say the least. Desperate to live the life he dreams of, Tobi is going to have to figure this out even if it requires reversing time to find the perfect solution…if there is one. This award-winning short examines the complexities of being a second-generation immigrant and an artist as well as raising conversations around the role of a parent in a young person’s life.
