Paddington the lovable and marmalade-loving bear has been living happily with the Brown family in London for a few years. The kids Jonathan and Judy are growing up fast and are almost ready to fly the nest, but there’s still time for one more family holiday to remember forever: a trip to visit Paddington’s Aunt Lucy in Peru! But when they arrive at the Home for Retired Bears, which is run by nuns, the Reverend Mother informs them that Aunt Lucy has disappeared on a mysterious quest into the Amazon rainforest. The little bear and the Browns set out on an exhilarating adventure through the jungle to find her, becoming mixed up in an ancient treasure hunt. With enjoyable references to some iconic scenes from film history, and plenty of shenanigans from delightful baddies, this third film in the Paddington franchise promotes the theme of chosen family and inclusivity.
