Synopsis

Krumping is an LA street dance style where the performers take part in epic battles - at times, it can seem more like a martial art than anything you normally see on a dance floor. The history and culture of krumping, and how it came from a few blocks in Los Angeles to spread around the world, are explored in this loud and lively documentary.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."

- Marlon Perkins, Teacher, Whitstable and Seasalter Endowed CofE Junior School, Kent
