One of the most popular Russian movies of all time, this fantasy horror sees the forces of light and darkness come into conflict after a thousand year truce. The Night Watch is made up of the good guys, who keep tabs on vampires, witches and other dark spirits. But when a child is born who has special powers, both the light and dark sides want to claim him for their own - and will stop at nothing to achieve it. What follows is a fast-paced, action-packed ride, in which even the subtitles move - exploding, filling the screen, and even dripping off it! A sequel, Day Watch, followed in 2006.
This film has a few uses of strong bad language and contains strong violence and horror.
