The Enron scandal of the early 2000s was one of the largest and most notorious cases of corporate greed and corruption in history. This insightful documentary uses interviews and video footage to show how the American energy company grew hugely successful through dubious practices and 'creative accounting' and how those responsible tried to get away with their crimes. Meanwhile, after these wrongdoings came to light, innocent employees and shareholders were left penniless. This is a cautionary tale of big business gone bad.
This film has a couple of uses of strong bad language.
