Very loosely based on the famous nonsense poem by Lewis Carroll, creator of Alice in Wonderland, Jabberwocky is a zany and surreal comedy set in medieval times. Directed by Monty Python member Terry Gilliam, it stars fellow Python Michael Palin as a nervous young man from a tiny village who sets out to make his name by slaying a ferocious man-eating dragon named Jabberwock. Needless to say, the scheme doesn't go quite according to plan - but much hilarity ensues along the way.
This film has a few uses of mild bad language, contains female nudity and some sexual references.
