Terrific, plot twist-laden film noir in which a scheming housewife convinces a life-insurance salesman to take out a policy on her husband without his knowledge - and then help her murder him in order to collect on it. Staging an unlikely accident in order to qualify for the "double indemnity" clause in the contract, they succeed. But it's only a matter of time before the pair begin to turn on each other.
