Synopsis

The frivolous world of high fashion is the backdrop for this charming romantic-comedy musical. If the editor of Quality magazine tells the world to "think pink," then that's what happens - and now she's looking to make a new model a star. Intellectual Jo works in a bookshop, but is swept into the glamourous fashion world when she accidentally meets photographer Dick Avery. She thinks it's all rather shallow and silly, but wants to take advantage of a promised trip to Paris. But it's the city of love after all, and sparks soon fly between the photographer and his reluctant model.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."

- Marlon Perkins, Teacher, Whitstable and Seasalter Endowed CofE Junior School, Kent
