Synopsis

This ground-breaking comedy is one of the seminal Hollywood films of the 1960s and contains an iconic soundtrack, courtesy of Simon and Garfunkel. It follows 21-year-old Benjamin Braddock as he returns home from university to live with his wealthy parents in California. He wants to take some time to decide what to do with his life, but they pressure him to conform to their plans. Isolated and confused, Ben falls into an affair. But the woman is question, Mrs Robinson, isn't just married, she's married to his father's business partner. Just when the situation looks like it couldn't get any more confused, Ben actually falls in love, with Mrs Robinson's daughter. Groundbreaking, awkward and hilarious, the film continues to resonate across generations.
