Synopsis

Following on from the adventures of the first film, Prince Charming is outraged to discover that he has arrived too late and that Fiona is already married. Upon her and Shrek’s return from their honeymoon, they are summoned by her parents – King Harold and Queen Lillian – to a royal ball, thrown to celebrate their marriage. However, when Fiona arrives in her new form and reveals that her husband is an ogre, her father is not happy. Harold teams with Prince Charming and his mother, the Fairy Godmother, with the three of them devising a plan to ensure that Shrek and Fiona don’t have their Happy Ever After. Meanwhile, Shrek and Fiona must decide exactly who they are and whether they are truly destined to be together after all. ‘Shrek 2’ is a playful sequel which introduces extra fairy tale characters as well as bringing back old favourites to the beloved land of Far Far Away.

What our educators say

"Some of them saw a clip from Wakolda (The German Doctor) on TV recently and really wanted to watch it. So I thought I’d take a chance, not expecting them to watch the whole film but the majority were absolutely gripped. "
