This is a masterpiece of Italian cinema from legendary director Federico Fellini. The heartbreaking story concerns circus strongman Zampano, who buys a simple young woman, Gelsomina, from her poverty-stricken family so that she will act as his assistant. He is frequently cruel to her - but she is an innocent and pure-hearted girl and doesn't complain, in fact she even begins to love him. But when she befriends another man, a tightrope walker named Fool, it begins a tragic chain of events.
A poor father and son search Rome for their stolen bicycle in this hugely influential '40s Italian film from director Vittorio De Sica.
