Synopsis

This funny, action packed film takes on the idea of what things would really be like for a superhero in the modern world - and, initially, things aren't good. When we first meet Hancock there's nothing very super about him - he's an angry, sarcastic drunk whose crime-fighting antics invariably involve wholesale property destruction and the contempt of those he's trying to help. However, a young ad exec decides to take on his case and remarket him as the good guy, in the process helping Hancock find out who he really is.

What our educators say

"We are currently screening The Wizard of Oz, profound film that it is, and the last film Wall-E. It's been rewarding observing the KS1 6 year olds run the gamut of emotions from wonder to sadness to joy. "
