Synopsis

Three young students are missing, presumed dead, and all that's left of them is the footage they were filming deep in the Maryland woods while trying to make a documentary about local legend, the Blair Witch. This low budget horror became a phenomenon on its release due to its high-concept idea of using "found" footage to tell its "true" story. As we watch Heather, Josh and Mike become increasingly scared and disorientated by the strange noises and bizarre goings-on around them the tension builds as the object of their terror remains unrevealed. Having not lost its power to unsettle and shock, The Blair Witch Project remains one of the most important and influential horror films of all time.
