Into Film Clubs
Find out everything you need to know about starting an Into Film Club.
We've been at Edinburgh International Film Festival this week, one of the highlights of the cinematic calendar, and managed to snag Scottish actor Ewan McGregor for a short interview.
Talking to our reporter Chris, Ewan spoke passionately about the role film, and all of the arts, can and should play in education. We see first hand through our network of over 11,000 film clubs how effective film can be in the classroom, so it's great to see influential actors like Ewan vocally supporting our philosophy.
It's an important part of education, I've seen it with my kids and I experience it as a child myself.

Ewan was at the festival to talk about his upcoming directorial debut American Pastoral, based on the novel by Philip Roth. Talking further about the steps he took to become such an established and respected member of the film industry, Ewan said "if you're going to be a filmmaker, watching great films is where you're going to learn."
Watch the full interview above to find out what Ewan learned from working with so many high-profile directors, and what to expect from his upcoming film.
