Feref PR visit Anson Primary School

This week saw leading film marketing agency Feref visit Anson Primary School in North London. This leading agency came in to give students a bit of background into how influential marketing and publicity can be in ensuring the success of a film.

A gripping trailer, a stylish poster, an intriguing pull-quote - these things can all be key to helping you decide what to spend your money at at the cinema. Feref know more than most about constructing a great campaign, having worked on films such as the recent smash Frozen, and the record breaking Avengers Assemble. They've also provided several internships to graduates of Into Film's young reporter programme over the years, including young reporter Lily.

Presenting to the students in attendance were Nicola Piggott, Head of Communications; Mark Popple, Head of Audio Visual; Emily Payne, Senior Account Executive and Gillian Littler, Account Manager. Between them, they work on campaigns for Warner Brothers, Lionsgate, Pathe, Disney and Universal.

Simon Pile, who leads the Into Film Club at Anson Primary School, spoke about the benefits of having Feref come in to talk to his students:

"Having a company as successful as Feref come into the school to talk to children about PR in films has broadened their horizons. The content, delivery and interaction was targeted superbly to a group of children who are now thinking about how they promote their own projects in school. This will lead to some of the best promotions the school has ever seen and set a benchmark for the future."
