Frankenweenie Interview with producer Allison Abate

"Lots of different kinds of artists work on stop-motion'' - Surrounded by actual sets, puppets and drawings from Frankenweenie, our reporter spoke to producer Allison Abate about how she brought the whole film together, and what she loves about working in stop-motion animation. Stop-motion animation goes through many processes before it makes it onto the big screen. The interview was filmed at The Art of Frankenweenie exhibition, which gives an insight into the processes of stop-motion animation, showcasing everything from Tim Burton's original concept art through to the metal armatures that make up the puppets and the final sets that were used in the film.
