Our Green Light to Opening Night project delves deep into the production process of upcoming films, tracking their progress from beginning to end - from the initial pitch, right through to the finished product.
For our latest instalment of our behind-the-scenes project, we tracked the production of historical comedy Bill. To fully explore the making of the film, we sent a trio of young reporters - Jake, Tanvi and Becki - to follow the production process from beginning to end over the course of five short films.
You can see all of the videos below, beginning with a look at the pitching process, followed by an exploration of the unit base on a shoot, and interviews with the cast, the crew, and those in the edit suite.

In part one of our Behind-the-scenes look at the making of Bill, reporter Jake heads into the BBC to find out what goes into making a film pitch in order to try and get your film made, before heading down to a script reading and meeting the director and cast of the film.
Bill: Green Light to Opening Night Part 2 - Unit Base
In part two of our exclusive Behind The Scenes look at the making of Bill, reporters Jake, Tanvi and Becky are at Bolton Castle to investigate the shoot's production, talk to the assistant directors, make-up artists, and costume designers, while Jake gets himself transformed into a Tudor character.
