Acclaimed horror 'Hereditary' leads this week's new releases

Hereditary is an acclaimed horror film starring Toni Collette from first-time US filmmaker Ari Aster which sees a family of four begin to experience increasingly strange phenomena in their lives after the death of the family matriarch. Smart and fresh, the film defies audience expectations and genre conventions, providing plenty of twists and turns within its narrative.

All the Wild Horses; The Happy Prince; A Ciambra; Yu-Gi-Oh!

All the Wild Horses is a documentary about the Mongol Derby - the world's longest horse race - following competitors from around the world as they take on the difficult terrain; The Happy Prince is an Oscar Wilde biopic which is written, directed by and starring Rupert Everett as the famous writer, recounting his final years after being imprisoned for his love affair with another man; A Ciambra is a social-realist Italian drama about a teenage boy growing up in a small Romani community; and Yu-Gi-Oh! is a big-screen version of the popular manga series, where a student uses supernatural card games to defeat an ancient evil spirit.

Black Panther

Marvel's incredibly popular and successful Black Panther sees Prince T'Challa ascend to the role of King in the fictional African nation of Wakanda, following the death of his father. Aware of its status as the most technologically advanced country on the planet, two enemies conspire to overrule Wakanda and claim its resources for themselves. As a result, T'Challa must don his alter-ego - the Black Panther - and team up with an all-female special forces troop to protect his land in this visually extravagant superhero movie.
