On Tuesday 25 March 2014, Empire Leicester Square played host to a glorious celebration of young filmmakers, inspiring teachers and incredible film clubs. Children and young people from all over the United Kingdom were in attendance for what was a truly unique event.
Ed Vaizey, Minister of State for Culture and the Digital Economy, had this to say about the awards:
It's clear from the amazing talent being celebrated here today that the future of the British film industry is sure to be a bright and exciting one. I congratulate all the entrants and winners, and commend Into Film for all it's doing to put film at the heart of young people's education and inspiring the filmmakers and reviewers of tomorrow.
