Into Film Clubs
Find out everything you need to know about starting an Into Film Club.
With less than a month to go until the start of the 2022 Into Film Festival (8-25 November), places are booking up fast for both our hundreds of regular screenings and our exciting selection of special events.
Each year, the Festival's series of introductions, Q&As, workshops, tours and collaborative screenings seek to give young people a truly unique time at the cinema, whether by providing a window into how the screen industries work or simply through an enjoyable and immersive experience.
Whilst the Festival already unofficially began with a screening of The Woman King featuring a Q&A with Into Film Ambassador Lashana Lynch, it will properly kick-off on 8 November with simultaneous pupil premieres of Roald Dahl's Matilda the Musical in Belfast, Cardiff, Glasgow, London and Manchester. The Festival will then wrap with a special screening of Disney's Strange World on 25 November.
Some of our highlights from the programme include an exclusive preview of The Amazing Maurice, a sneak peak of new Netflix show TV Show Lockwood & Co with author Jonathan Stroud and director Joe Cornish, and a UK female producer panel with Nira Park, Amelia Granger and Nisha Parti, to name a few. The rest of the Festival features additional talks with figures across the film industry including a designer, director of photography and a professor of film and media. Meanwhile, organisations such as BAFTA, the BBFC and Creative England will be on hand to impart their wisdom to young audiences.
Below, we've listed a selection of special events by date and region that will give you and your students a cinema experience they'll never forget.
