We're delighted to announce that Into Film has been shortlisted for a National Lottery Award - and we need your votes to help us win!
Into Film is honoured to have been chosen from among over 1,300 organisations - a record number of entries - to reach the finals in the Best Education Project category, where we're competing against six other fantastic institutions. The winners are to be decided by the public, and everyone is eligible to vote, so if you're a teacher, club leader or pupil who has enjoyed films from our catalogue, used our resources, attended the Into Film Festival, taken part in the Into Film Awards, or benefited from Into Film in any other way, please show your support by casting your vote for us. Remember - there's no age limit on voting, so if you or your film club are passionate about supporting us, please ask your members to vote too!

I've been an ambassador for Into Film for a few years now, and I've seen first-hand the impact that all aspects of film can have on children and young people's development: it has the power to inspire us and expand our understanding of ourselves and the world around us; and it's hugely effective in supporting learning and skills development inside and outside of the classroom. It enables us to harness the power of film to captivate, educate and inspire many hundreds of thousands of children, young people and their teachers across the entire length and breadth of the UK through a programme of film clubs, classroom resources, filmmaking projects and training. We are enormously grateful for the game-changing support provided by National Lottery players each week."
There are many projects competing for votes across seven categories, reflecting the main areas of National Lottery funding: arts, sport, heritage, health, environment, education and voluntary/charity.
The project with the most votes will be crowned the winner and receive a £5,000 cash prize to spend on their project, an iconic National Lottery Awards trophy, and get to attend a star-studded Awards ceremony to be broadcast on BBC One in September.
