Into Film Clubs
Find out everything you need to know about starting an Into Film Club.
We're delighted to announce that bookings are live for latest programme of free screenings and events, designed especially with schools in mind. Our 2024 Spring Screenings programme promises to be our biggest and best spring offering yet, with hundreds of screenings for both primary and secondary schools taking place across the UK, and all completely free of charge.
This year's Spring Screenings will take place between 8-28 March, and you can book now. You'll need to be logged in to your Into Film account to book (if you don't have an account, it only takes a moment to sign up). Simply visit the catalogue of events, and use your location to find events near you. And remember - all events are completely free! Be sure to secure your places quickly, as many events will book up fast.
The programme also includes a range of live speakers and special guests who will join us at screenings across the UK for unique introductions and Q&A sessions, and we are also offering large number of autism-friendly screenings. Screenings are open to UK schools and home educators, and remember - it's all completely free!
We're thrilled to have a special pupil premiere of Ava DuVernay's vital new film Origin opening this year's Spring Screenings programme in London, followed by further screenings across the UK. Origin is a powerful and educational film, adapted from the best-selling novel Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents by Isabel Wilkerson, which sheds new light on the history of racism and chronicles how lives today are defined by a hierarchy of human divisions.
Meanwhile, showing as part of the programme for primary audiences are recent animated spectaculars Trolls Band Together and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, as well as Robot Dreams, a vibrant, dialogue-free and now Oscar-nominated feature animation which boasts sophisticated and emotional storytelling about the complexities of friendship and how relationships can evolve.
For secondary aged audiences, the brand new musical version of Mean Girls - adapted from the hit stage musical - will be playing, alongside recent British hits Scrapper and How to Have Sex, women's football documentary Copa '71, and The Lost Boys, a French-language film from 2023 that explores two young men finding romance in a youth correctional facility.
Remember - bookings go live from 8am on the morning of Thursday 18 January, and events will book up quickly! We look forward to seeing you at cinemas around the country this spring.
