World Environment Day
5 June
Inspired by the blockbuster cinema event of the summer, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom - Disasters and Debate empowers secondary students to think about the film's core themes of environmental conservation and evolution. Packed full of topical talking points around genetics, rights and responsibilities, and the environment this new resource is sure to engage your students in lively debate!
Over four lessons students will engage with geography, science, English and citizenship while forming their own arguments to develop for debate. The resource includes creative tasks where students can design their own campaign posters and leaflets, as well as research-focused homework activities.
We have developed a large catalogue of educational resources since launching in 2013, and some references and terminology will inevitably have dated as society and language evolves. We are aware of this and will be updating resources when our production schedule allows.
