How do Into Film Clubs work?
Find out more about what's involved in running your very own Into Film Club.

This resource, suitable for learners aged 15 and over, explores some of the key themes in the film County Lines. It includes key scenes from the film as well as videos with the film's director Henry Blake who also has experience of being a youth worker and safeguarding professional. Students will have the opportunity to learn about and discuss some of the facets that impact people who become involved in county lines such as grooming, debt bondage and being seen as an acceptable loss.
As you would expect, this unique resource contains extracts and references to the film which may be triggering for some young people. The film and some clips used here contain violence, injury detail, threat, drug misuse and very strong language (for more detailed content information please see the BBFC guidance).
We would strongly recommend that educators should watch and read all elements of this powerful resource prior to using it in the classroom and follow their school's safeguarding protocol if a student is triggered or makes a disclosure..
The final slide of the resource gives very useful contacts which it would be sensible for teachers to have to hand and to share with learners.
We have developed a large catalogue of educational resources since launching in 2013, and some references and terminology will inevitably have dated as society and language evolves. We are aware of this and will be updating resources when our production schedule allows.
