Synopsis

It doesn't take a fashion expert to know that Coco Chanel was one of the most influential designers and style icons of the 20th century - but this elegant drama takes us back to Chanel's little-known, humble beginnings. After growing up in a strict Catholic orphanage, Coco and her sister Adrienne scrape a living as cabaret singers and seamstresses - until Coco meets a well-heeled Parisian named Balsan, and spots an opportunity to start moving up in the world

What our educators say

"We are currently screening The Wizard of Oz, profound film that it is, and the last film Wall-E. It's been rewarding observing the KS1 6 year olds run the gamut of emotions from wonder to sadness to joy. "
