Synopsis

In this, the second instalment in the Maze Runner saga, the Gladers have escaped the confines of the maze itself, but now face a whole series of new challenges as they search for clues relating to the mysterious WCKD organisation. Teaming up with a band of resistance fighters, their journey will take them to a barren landscape called the Scorch, a space full of terrifying and extraordinary obstacles. Picking right up from where the first film ended, this sequel builds on the rich characterisation that helped make its predecessor a success, adding an intriguing new mythology to the richly-populated world of the young adult adaptation.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."
