Synopsis

Picking up a while after the events of the first film, Mavis and Johnny are happily married and getting used to their new lives with their monster family, which includes Mavis’ grumpy father Count Dracula. The couple are delighted to bring a new baby into the world but, with his fifth birthday approaching, baby Dennis has yet to grow his fangs which concerns Drac, worried that his grandson may never gain vampire powers. Sensing that her son may struggle with Transylvania life, Mavis considers moving their family to Johnny’s hometown in California to provide a more ‘normal’ and stable upbringing for him. Drac is dismayed at this news and decides to recruit his spooky friends – Frank, Wayne, Griffin, Murray, and Blobby – to scupper these plans.

What our educators say

"Some of them saw a clip from Wakolda (The German Doctor) on TV recently and really wanted to watch it. So I thought I’d take a chance, not expecting them to watch the whole film but the majority were absolutely gripped. "
