Synopsis

Azeroth is a peaceful kingdom on the brink of war as its civilization faces fearsome invaders in the form of orc warriors fleeing their dying home. Led by the fearsome Gul’dan, the orc army – known as the Horde – plan to conquer this vulnerable land before bringing the rest of the population through the same magical portal that brought them there. While the citizens of Azeroth, led by King Llane and Sir Anduin Lothar attempt to coordinate a response, one member of the Horde might just be wanting to broker peace. Based on the mega-selling computer game series, this is a noisy, ambitious and epic saga, sure to please the franchise’s many legions of fans and looking to convert the as yet uninitiated.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."

- Marlon Perkins, Teacher, Whitstable and Seasalter Endowed CofE Junior School, Kent
