Zoli and Barba are best friends. Both physically disabled, they live a fairly uneventful life in a rehabilitation facility in Hungary. Zoli needs life-saving surgery but is reluctant to ask his absent father for the money. When they meet Rupasov, a wheelchair-using man newly released from prison, he quickly charms the two friends and offers them the chance to make some extra cash. However Rupasov is a hitman. This black comedy is in many ways a crime film in the vein of Tarantino, with a clear buddy movie vibe. But the film moves in some unexpected directions and becomes more about family, reconciliation, coming-of-age and creativity. With a cast of disabled actors, the film provides insight into what their day-to-day lives are like and highlights areas of everyday life that non-disabled people take for granted.
Very strong language, strong violence, sex references.
