Set within a dystopian near-future, the world is forced into lockdown after the emergence of a terrifying threat which arrives in the form of blind monsters who use sound to capture and kill their prey. The few survivors of an attack in New York are the four members of the Abbott family, consisting of father Lee, mother Evelyn, son Marcus and daughter Regan who must live every day in silence, communicating almost exclusively through American Sign Language. After a tragic event, a rift begins to develop between father and daughter, with Regan harbouring guilty feelings for the part she may have inadvertently played in it. But with Evelyn heavily pregnant, the family must find a way to work together to have any chance at survival. ‘A Quiet Place’ is an intricately constructed post-apocalyptic horror-thriller full of tension which is sure to terrify audiences.
A woman and her young daughter become convinced their apartment is occupied by supernatural forces during the aftermath of the Iranian Revolution.
