Synopsis

An all-star female cast leads this spin-off of Steven Soderbergh’s humorous heist trilogy. Debbie, the sister of the notorious Danny Ocean, spends her time in prison planning her next heist. Once out she joins her partner-in-crime Lou, together recruiting a dynamic group of seven skilled criminals who are tired of their regular lives. The plan is to steal a 150 million dollar necklace from Daphne, a dim-witted actress, at New York's prestigious Met Gala, and blame the deed on Debbie’s ex-boyfriend who betrayed her and exposed her to the police. The film flips the script on a traditionally male-dominated genre, with the clique’s wit driving the action as the seemingly impossible heist unfolds.

What our educators say

"We are currently screening The Wizard of Oz, profound film that it is, and the last film Wall-E. It's been rewarding observing the KS1 6 year olds run the gamut of emotions from wonder to sadness to joy. "
