Starring Amandla Stenberg and based on the best-selling novel, The Hate U Give follows the story of Starr, an African-American teenager who witnesses the fatal shooting of her best friend at the hands of a white police officer.
In the traumatic aftermath of the event, and feeling stuck between two worlds - her mostly Black and working-class neighbourhood and the mostly white high school she attends out of town - Starr must decide if speaking out will have a positive or negative affect on her community.
This is a powerful exploration of American society and racial inequality, told from the perspective of young people, which also highlights the positive role of activism and the Black Lives Matter movement.
Bohemian Rhapsody celebrates the life and music of British rock-band Queen and its iconic lead singer, Freddie Mercury, following the start of his career and the events that led up to the group's famous performance at London's Wembley Stadium. Also a biopic, Don't Worry, He Won't Get Far On Foot, is based on cartoonist John Callahan's autobiography and spans his journey of recovery from his addiction after a catastrophic accident, and how his art helped him along the way.
Bohemian Rhapsody has free screenings taking place in November as part of the Mental Wellbeing strand of this year's Into Film Festival.

McQueen is a documentary on renowned fashion designer Alexander McQueen which chronicles his beginnings as a working-class student and his rise to fame, exploring his struggle with mental health throughout his life. Ocean's 8 is a spin-off of the heist trilogy led by an all-star female cast, which sees an ex-convict recruit a crew of criminals to steal jewels from the prestigious Met Gala.
