Synopsis

Thirteen short films from animation studio Pixar can be found in this collection, including Oscar® winner Piper in the category of Best Animated Short Film (2016), as well as nominees Sanjay’s Super Team and Lou. Other highlights include spin-offs from the studio’s popular feature-lengths films from recent years, such as Riley’s First Date? – which follows the protagonist of ‘Inside Out’ – plus Partysaurus Rex, in which the loveable green dinosaur from the ‘Toy Story’ series gets his own outing, and Party Central, set in the ‘Monsters, Inc.’ world. The collection also features the following titles: Bao, Lava, The Radiator Springs 500 1/2, The Blue Umbrella, The Legend of Mor'du and two mini-movies: Marine Life Interviews and Miss Fritter's Racing Skoool. This volume encompasses a range of styles and subjects, and provides a fantastic introduction to animated storytelling.

What our educators say

"We are currently screening The Wizard of Oz, profound film that it is, and the last film Wall-E. It's been rewarding observing the KS1 6 year olds run the gamut of emotions from wonder to sadness to joy. "
